unwrap the meaning behind his gift.

EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT.
the pressure to deliver to-die-for goods is nothing short of traumatic for a man. that's why turning up with a gift that actually topped your wish list means one of two things : Romeo is a mind reader ( not likely) or those 7,000 hints you dropped didn't fall on deaf ears. "When your partner gets you a gift that you asked for - even indirectly - it shows that he pays attention to you and truly wants to please you".

A SAPPY GIFT.
a teddy bear, a music box that plays "your song", a framed ticket stub from your first movie date-he shouldn't have, he really shouldn't have! " unfortunately, when faced with the daunting task of shopping for the perfect present, men often defer to the stereotype of what they think a woman wants - something overly romantic or sentimental". give him zero points for creativity but major points for trying. and drop a few more hints next year.

A PRACTICAL PRESENT
if your guy has ever given you a pragmatic gift that make you want to deck him - instead of the halls - take hearts: "an unromantic or utilitarian gift is your boyfie's tender, albeit inept, way to saying "i care about you. i'm concerned about your well-being". that and he didn't know what the hell to get you.

A BIG-TICKET ITEM
here's a good rule of thumb: "a pricey present like diamond earrings or a fancy watch signifies that your guy has invested in the relationship - not to mention the gift." " he's essentially saying ' i want you to think of me every time you wear this". as long as he didn't break the bank too early in the relationship ( a sign he's desperate to please ) go ahead and think of him. often.

Bye.
